3rd Generation Baker Jean-Jacque De Pauw and crew start work at 9PM every Saturday night and dont stop until 6-7 Sunday morning. They work hard baking 1000's of various breads, tartes and 2000 pistolets (his famous round roll).
Jean-Jacque, the self-proclaimed "best baker in all of Belgium" may be right due to the line that stretches along the sidewalk in front of his bakery De Pauw every Sunday morning. Jean-Jacque learned to bake from watching his grandfather and father and still uses old traditional methods of baking as well as having most of the original equipment, work tables and cabinets from when his grandfather first opened his doors at the same location 3 generations ago.
